Cabin

We've booked a great private cabin at Annie's Mountain Retreat in Drake, Colorado. It's just outside Estes Park, and close to Boulder and Denver. You can check it out at www.anniesmountainretreat.com!

Champagne for the room

Help us continue the celebration by arriving to a bottle of champagne in our cabin!

Breakfast in bed

Our cabin comes with a full kitchen so we can whip up some pancakes and sausage before a hard day of sightseeing!

Lunch in the room

Well, a picnic lunch actually. Our cabin comes with a great picnic bag, all we need is the food!

The Estes Park Brewery

This seems like a great little local spot for some good food, good fun and good beer! Colorado is known for it's breweries, so we've got to see if they're any match to the ones in St. Louis!

Ghost Tour/Stanley Hotel

This is where they filmed "The Shining" with Jack Nicholson. We'd love a night of "ghost hunting" at this famous hotel! It's right in Estes Park, only about 15 minutes from our cabin!

Ski Train

The Ski Train will take us from Denver to Winter Park through the amazing Rockies. We'll travel around mountains and through tunnels up to the Continental Divide! Once we arrive at Winter Park we'll have our choice of winter activities until the train leaves in the afternoon.

Snowmobile Tour

This is what we have planned when we arrive in Winter Park via the Ski Train. It is a guided tour on snowmobiles of the Continental Divide. But don't worry, I get to ride on the back of Trav's so no one will be crashing!

Bookcliff Vineyards

This is a neat little winery in Boulder that we'd like to check out. They make their own wine on the owner's property and then sell it at the Boulder store. We can also have a romantic dinner here after a hard day of shopping!

Lunch at a restaurant

We can't wait to try some local restaurants in Estes Park and Boulder!

Pearl Street Mall

So we all know that I love shopping, right? Well the Pearl Street Mall is one of the countries best outdoor, pedestrian malls. Both sides are filled with great shops filled with local artisan's work. We'd love to bring a nice, handblown glass vase or a great piece of art home with us to remind of us our wonderful Colorado experience!

Jax Fish House

Ali is a big fan of the show "Top Chef", and one of her favorite chefs from this season cooks at Jax Fish House! We'd love to go eat there - just no rocky mountain oysters!
