As long as our airline doesn't go out of business or cancel all flights, we should get there and back in one piece.

We can have a bottle of champagne waiting for us when we arrive. Wanna get us some bubbly?

Beachfront Accomodations

Of the many rooms to choose from at Jaguar Reef, we chose the poolside room because Matthew heard the bathroom was "grand" and knew Ashley would love it. Plus the sea is visible from the bed!

Fresh Flowers and Candles

We'll feel like royalty coming back to a room with fresh flowers and candles each day!

Breakfast at the Resort

Ashley's all right but Matthew's tummy is very hungry in the morning! Help us quiet the beast (don't worry Ashley will get some too).

Lunch at Our Resort

We heard the food is great and we'll definately be looking to chow down.

Dinner at our Resort

A couple's gotta eat! The restaurant is on the beach, open air, and under a thatched roof. We hope dinners will be a romantic quiet time when we can talk about all we did during the day.

We'd love to eat by candlelight under the stars. Pick up the tab for our seaside table for two!

Drinks on the Beach

Although Ashley enjoys the occasional brewsky, Matthew likes the girlie drinks like pina coladas and daquiris. Help us enjoy some fruity drinks on the beach, in the pool, or in the sea.

Zip Line Tour

Even though Ashley is afraid of heights, we're doing this! (just tell her it's therapy on adrenaline) This is is big reason we picked Belize. As long as hands are not needed to hold on, Matthew will be sure to get a video!

Cave Tubing

We love caves and Belize has a huge one with an underground river that you can ride through on an innertube! This is a "must do" for us on our trip.

Waterfalls Hiking Tour

The difficult hike to Antelope Falls will definately be worth the effort. They say we'll be amongst the first non-Mayans to see this spectacular waterfall. The small pool at the bottom will provide a cool break.

Mayan Ruins Tour

Belize (and neighboring Honduras) have several ancient Mayan ruins to explore and our resort will take us to them. We'll definately take a lot of pictures here!

Snorkeling Tour

We loved snorkeling several years ago in Florida, so it's hard to imagine how wonderful snorkeling will be in Belize with its barrier reef (the second largest in the WORLD!). We'll rent some gear and hire a guide to point out the cool things and steer us clear of things that want to eat us.

Underwater Pictures

We don't want our digital camera swimming with us so we hope to purchase a few of waterproof disposable cameras to take amazing pictures of the underwater environement at the reef. We'll get them developed once we get home to share with everyone!

Bike Rentals and Lunch

Give us a set of wheels and we'll provide the leg power to explore the nearby village of Hopkins the old fashioned way, no engines!

Kayak Paddle into Town

The nearest town is 2 miles away and apparently very small and culturally rich. One of the best ways to get there is paddling up the coast so I think we'll get some lunch when we get there.

Butterflies Spa

Our resort has its own spa! After a day of hiking up the steps of Mayan temples some spa treatments will be in order. Perhaps sea salt foot scrubs for two.

Massage at the Spa

We think massages might be nice the night we get back from ziplining through the jungle canopy (or after hiking, biking, kayaking, caving, exploring ruins, etc...you get the point!) Happily, our resort has its own spa.

Souvenirs and Necessities

bugspray, sunscreen, trinkets. Ashley loves to shop...we'll take an extra suitcase.
