Family & Friends, For those of you who didn't know, here's the story on how Eron and I met. Eron had said to Karen, a mutual friend, "Hey, why don't you find me a nice woman who goes to our church." To which she responded, "You know, I think I might have someone for you." Karen called me that night and said, "I have someone who wants to meet you." At the time, meeting someone was the last thing on my mind, but Karen's conviction that we were perfect for each other made me curious. We met two weeks later on March 24, 06. It's been a fun adventure ever since. |
It seems like once you put your address on one little thing saying you're engaged, the world finds out and you get mail from every photographer, dj and hotel advertising their services. I had gotten a fancy schmancy magazine from Sandals Hotel. It had the most beautiful resorts, and something I hadn't seen before...swim up rooms! I thought that was the coolest thing. But of course, there were no prices on it. I went to their website and Holy Moly! Even if I was loaded, I don't think I'd want to pay what they were asking per night. I decided to google "swim up hotel rooms". Gotta love Google. The first hotel it brought up as La Tortuga. I checked out the website, then reviews. It looks absolutely amazing, and much more affordable than the Sandals hotels. I've kind of set this up as a little tour of the set-up of the honeymoon. And don't worry, anything in there that we don't use, or want to do something else, it's completely exchangeable. :) |
