One day on a train

The plan is to explore many distinct corners of Italy via the Eurorail. Several days of train travel will be in order!

1 night in a Pensione

We will live like the locals, by staying in a rustic, farmhouse bed & breakfast in the Italian countryside....Kelly will milk the cows, and David will drink Grappa for breakfast

Vino Italiano!

You know that we won't be drinking wine from a jug when we're in the cradle of fine wine production. And Kelly has acquired quite a taste for high end Barolo and Amarone, so we'd better plan ahead!

Lunch on the piazza

David cooks great meals for me, but nothing will beat a relaxing lunch in the ancient plaza....

Dinner for 2 at a Cafe

I won't miss cooking for Kelly during the time we are away!

Gelato

Kelly loves her American ice cream and it's only a matter of time before she falls in love with the Italian's gelato...

Sightseeing tour of Rome

Kelly and I will participate in an epic battle within the walls of the ancient colosseum....we are taking bets on who will be the winner!

Gondola Ride in Venice

Kelly will gently serenade me as we float through the "streets" of Venice.....

Italian Souvenirs

I am bringing an empty suitcase to carry back all the "trinkets" we will be collecting....jewelry, leather, pottery, snowglobes and many other gifts will be smuggled back through customs!
