This will help us to reach our honeymoon destination... and make it back home! We are flying out of Kalamazoo to Chicago, and from there to Dublin. On the return trip, we will fly out of Shannon to Chicago, and from there back home to Kalamazoo.

When we arrive in Ireland, we will spend our first two nights in the Mont Clare Hotel!

Dublin City Tour

This is a 24 hour "hop on, hop off" bus tour. We are going to use this for one of our days in Dublin to get around and see the signts!

Dinner at Abbey Tavern

Abbey Tavern is located just outside of Dublin, and is famous for its historical charm and deliciousness!

Rental car for one day

We are renting a car when we leave Dublin, so we can explore the Irish countryside during the rest of our trip!

Killarney Towers Hotel

After leaving Dublin, we will drive to Killarney and spend three nights in the Killarney Towers Hotel.

Ring of Kerry Tour

In this seven hour bus tour, we'll get to see Dingle Bay, MacGillycuddy Reeks, Kenmare Bay... and more!

Killarney National Park

There are so many things to see in Killarney National Park! Muckross Abbey, House, Gardens and Farm... Torc Waterfall... Dinis Cottage... Knockreer... Killarney House and Gardens... Ross Castle... the list goes on! It is free to get into the park itself, but a little extra for admission to the buildings and things to do.

Blarney Castle Admission

A visit to Ireland would not be complete without kissing the Blarney Stone!

Ardilaun House Hotel

After leaving Killarney, we will spend two nights in Galway at the Ardilaun House Hotel.

Ferry to the Aran Islands

We will be exploring Inis Mor, the largest of the Aran Islands (off the coast of Galway), by bicycle. The locals there still speak Irish, and there are all kinds of ruins and intersting things to see!

Bike Rental

Once we land on Inis Mor, we will need to get around!

Dinner

Yum... potatoes!

Cliffs of Moher

We will be visiting County Clare to see the majestic Cliffs of Moher... there are trails and viewing platforms we can explore, including a view from the top of O'Brien's Tower!

Bunratty Castle Hotel

After leaving Galway, we will spend one night in the Bunratty Castle Hotel (County Clare).

Medieval Banquet

Medieval banquet in the Bunratty Castle... complete with a song from the castle singers, a four course meal, lots of mead and entertainment! The castle butler will also give us a short history lesson about the castle... which was built in 1425!
