We first met in early 1987 when BIG hair, spandex and men wearing make-up was 'cool'. At that time, Steve was playing bass guitar in a band and I was cruisin the concerts with my friends. We met at the mall and became inseperable ever since. I would go watch Steve's band practice, we went to clubs together, walked on the beach, and had coffee at good ol' Denny's. For approximately four years we spent all our time together and were the bestest buds! We lost contact, 18 years went by. until, Oct. 24 2008, Steve located a photo of me on myspace. He contacted my web page and left a message. I contacted Steve back immediately and we talked for hours. It was as if time stood still. We were together again! Oct. 31, 2008 was our first official date, I went to see Steve play bass at a club. Steve was dressed as an alligator for Halloween, but even in his costume, I lit up with excitement seeing him after all these years. We dated intensely after that and then Steve asked me to marry him on Dec. 22, 2008. And of course, I said 'YES". We are both happier than we could ever have imagined. |
Our honeymoon is an example of both Steve and my favorite places to relax and/or have a great time. We love the desert! Sedona, Flagstaff, Oatman, Jerome, Holbrook, and the Grand Canyon are the most beautiful desert spots in the west. We are looking forward to spending nine days of hiking, sight-seeing, shopping, relaxing, touristy fun stuff and oh yes!!! Rock hounding , can't forget that one. |
