Our Honeymoon Registry: Molly & Michael

House sitting

We'll be leaving the menagerie at home while we enjoy our honeymoon and Abigail, Charlotte, and Pippin will need their accustomed level of exceptional care while we are away.

Sunscreen and hats

You are talking about two of the palest people you've met, be honest! We need all of the help we can get with sunscreen, hats, aloe vera. You name it, we'll need it!

Snacks

If you know Molly, you know she needs to be fed at regular intervals, or everyone suffers! She'll need snacks for the excursions and day trips they will be taking

Scrapbooking souvenirs

Of course we'll be picking up postcards, souvenirs and chatchkes for the world's largest wedding scrapbook!

Books!

I can't go anywhere without a bag full of books to occupy my time in airports, airplanes, waiting around, etc.

Meals in Rome

We will spend a little more than 24 hours exploring Rome before heading to Athens and want to enjoy all of the culinary wonders it has to offer!

Meals in Athens

We are lucky to spend almost three full days in Athens, and will be eating our way from one end of the city to the other. Can you say "baklava"?

Vino! 1 bottle for dinner

We have many nights on board ship with fabulous food and wine options. Michael is looking forward to the opportunity to explore the wine menu with our table mates while enjoying the amazing food.

Alexandria Egypt Tour

We have the opportunity to visit the Cairo museum, pyramids of Giza, the sphynx, and other wonders of ancient Egypt during the two days we'll be docked in port outside of Cairo.

Tour Istanbul!

I have that Constantinople song running through my head! We are so excited to have the opportunity to see the amazing St. Sophia, the Topkapi Palace Museum and Harem, and the Blue Mosque.

Ephesus

I can't compete with Michael's level of enthusiasm about visiting Ephesus in Turkey. This ancient city is full of ruins and early church history.

Naples and Pompeii

I saw Pompeii in 1999, but Michael has never seen the amazing restoration of this destroyed city. I can't wait to show him the marble mosaic "welcome mat" that says "beware of dog" in Latin!

Indulging spa luxury

We have a couple of days at sea to lay about and the ship has a wonderful spa that offers massages, facials, manicures, and other goodies that will be a wonderful way to recover from the chaos of the wedding.

Luggage!

We realized that our little overnighter, carry-on size bags will just not do for our Mediterranean Extravaganza, so we'll be needing to buy a hanging bag for all of our fancy duds and a big ol' bag on wheels for everything else!
