About Our Honeymoon
Thank you so much for helping us have an amazing honeymoon!!!! We are looking forward to 10 nights/11 days exploring Costa Rica! We'll begin our journey at the Peace Lodge in La Paz Waterfall Gardens visiting the rainforest, waterfalls, butterflies, snakes (oh my goodness!) and frogs. After a couple days of relaxing we'll travel on to Tamarindo where Frank will hopefully find plenty of waves for surfing and Nikki will take to lounging on the beach with a Pina Colada in hand. "Fun Fact" - close by Las Baulas beach is one of the few remaining places that giant leatherback turtles go to lay their eggs. Unfortunately, they are done by March so we won't get to see this. From here we will travel south along the cost (yep, we'll be driving- yikes!) to our last stop in Manuel Antonio, just outside the national park. The park has SO much to see and do - horseback riding, river rafting, mountain biking - but we can't wait for the canopy tour! The tour offers what sounds like an incredible tree top to tree top view of the park. Once total exhaustion sets in we hope to find our way to a couple hot stone massages and room service! On day 11 we'll pack our bags and head back home bringing with us truly amazing memories and experiences! We are so thankful to and grateful for our wonderful family and friends who have helped on our first journey as "The Wicherts"!!! We really could not do it without you!!
